FAQ
Common questions, answered briefly.
Do you open doors without damage?
If the door is only pulled shut and not locked, we usually open it without damage, except for very narrow gaps or stiff latches. We then check alternatives (e.g. a window) before drilling the cylinder.
Will you quote a final price on the phone?
Yes. After you describe the situation, we give a final price with no hidden costs. Rarely it may change if a technique cannot be applied.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash and debit (EC) card. You receive an invoice and receipt. We do not offer payment on invoice.
How long does an opening take?
Travel is often longer than the opening itself. Pulled-shut door: often ~10 minutes; locked door: up to ~30 minutes.
Do I get an invoice and receipt?
Yes, of course.
Will home contents insurance cover the cost?
That depends on your policy. If your key was stolen, reimbursement is often possible. Ask your insurer.
